I have owned dogs all my life. Currently, I have a 12 year old pit mix, an 11 year old Staffordshire bull terrier, and a 2 year old Belgian Malinois that is a working narcotics detection dog for the FBI. This past year, I have had trouble getting the pit mix to even get up and go out in the mornings. She was lethargic and spent most of her day on the couch laying around. Her walking was labored and it was clear she had joint pain. My staffy has had various problems over the years including an ACL tear that was operated on and reconstructed. As she got older, I noticed that she couldn’t get around as easily. She would limp if I took her for a longer walk and some days she wouldn’t use her back leg, where they operated, at all. Both of my older dogs had trouble getting up the stairs in my home. At two years old, my Malinois is still young but the demands on a working dog are high. I tried all types of joint supplements for my dogs but nothing seemed to make any major difference.
Approximately five months ago, I started giving all three dogs Droi-Kon ® Chondroitin Sulfate every night with their dinner. I have noticed a marked difference in my pit mix. Her demeanor has improved and there is more “pep” in her step. It’s not hard for me to get her up and out in the mornings anymore. It was a huge improvement but nothing compares to the changes I noticed in my staffy. She is like a puppy again! She can go on walks and even plays ball now, something she hasn’t done in years due to the deterioration of her joints. Not only do both dogs walk, run, and play better, but they certainly seem to be happier too. They are no longer in constant pain. They can go up and down the stairs in my house with no problem anymore. When we wake up in the morning, they are ready to go on their walk. When I come home in the afternoon, they meet me at the door with excitement. These changes can only be attributed to Droi-Kon ® Chondroitin Sulfate.
As with most jobs in law enforcement, the job of a working K9 is very demanding. I give Droi-Kon ® Chondroitin Sulfate to my working dog as well. I have noticed that it helps shorten her recovery time. I am confident that by supplementing her diet with Droi-Kon ® Chondroitin Sulfate, she will avoid the joint problems that my other two dogs suffered. It will extend the time she will be able to serve the FBI and I will have my partner for a long and successful career.

Since we began using Droi-Kon ®, our dog Dora has been able to walk on all four legs and is able to climb the stairs again. She has bilateral cruciate tears and has difficulty utilizing her hind legs at times. Now she even runs around the yard like a puppy! After receiving our Droi-Kon, we gave a teaspoon to Winston once daily with his dinner food and started seeing an improvement in his movements and less hind leg lameness. Combined with rest, we were able to get him through the winter without any additional vet visits or surgery.
In the early spring, during one of the cold/ice spells, Winston had a bad slip and again began not using his left hind leg. We had continued on with his Droi-Kon daily and he eventually had to have TPLO surgery but we continue to give him his Droi-Kon daily and he has had a beautiful recovery. I believe that taking this has assisted in his great recovery and I am so thankful for this supplement!
