Why is Droi-Kon® important?
Chondroitin Sulfate maintains balance in the joints by neutralizing destructive enzymes produced by the body. By controlling these levels, worn and/or damaged cartilage can be removed so that new cartilage can be generated in its place. Chondroitin Sulfate is a polysaccharide (sugar) and an important building block found throughout the tissues in the body, especially found during cartilage synthesis.
How do I administer?
Sprinkle the Chondroitin Sulfate on your dog’s food and sprinkle water to mix it in the food.
Even my difficult/picky dog will take it?
Droi-Kon® has no odor or taste, so even your difficult dog will not detect anything in their food!
How does Droi-Kon® work?
Chondroitin Sulfate acts as a liquid magnet helping to attract fluid into the proteoglycan molecules. The fluid sweeps nutrients into the cartilage and the fluid acts as a spongy shock absorber. Chondroitin Sulfate can protect existing cartilage from premature breakdown by inhibiting certain enzymes that destroy the cartilage and enzymes that PREVENT the transport of nutrients.
